bio scholars program

Field courses are a mainstay of many biology programs as they introduce students to the study of organisms and their natural environments. These courses are associated with higher GPAs, graduation rates, and are often cited by students as the most memorable and positive experiences of all of their courses. However, field courses require long hours making it difficult for some students to manage. The Biodiversity Scholars Program provides a stipend to undergraduate students who may not otherwise have the time or resources to attend a field course. The application cycle occurs once a year in the fall semester. If you wish to learn more about the program, contact biodiversity-scholars-interest[at]utlists.utexas.edu
