Bee Campus USA is a Xerces initiative that seeks to facilitate broad campus community participation to enhance pollinator habitat through increasing native plants and nesting abundance while reducing pesticide use in campus landscapes.
The UT Austin Bee Campus committee hosts events that align with the Xerces National Calendar of Observances and supports campus service-learning projects, research, courses, and resources focusing on pollinators. It gathers information on landscape management and pollinator species and makes this available to the community.
UT Austin Bee Campus began as a collaborative effort between UT Austin campus organizations including BEEVO, Landscape Services, Office of Sustainability, Biodiversity Center, Field Research Stations, and Department of Integrative Biology. Below you will find more information on the various services we provide. We welcome campus-wide participation!
