Texas is changing. Its land, water and living things need restoration and preservation.

With your help, we make that happen.

Researchers in The University of Texas at Austin's Biodiversity Center act in partnership with landowners and local communities to advance knowledge about Texas' past, understand Texas' present, and pave the way toward a bright Texas future where we maintain our natural resources as we've known them for generations.

The Center relies on the generosity of these partners, as well as alumni, friends and supporters, to fund high-quality education and research that addresses critical issues such as invasive species, water shortages, pollinator health, and more. This private support is critical to everything we do.

Outright gifts, seed funding, foundation support and long-term investments by way of endowments and estate planning are key to continuing groundbreaking research that preserves today's Texas for tomorrow.
