The resources and tools available to researchers at UT Austin include the Biodiversity Collections with more than 9 million discrete specimens, two biological field stations (Brackenridge Field Laboratory and Stengl Lost Pines Biological Station) within an hour of the main campus, and extensive online databases.

Featured Projects includes Science Under the Stars, Fishes of Texas, Invasive Species Research, Insects Unlocked, Native Bee Conservation, and the Biota of Waller Creek.

The Biodiversity Center also hosts the webcamera mounted at the nestbox of the resident Peregrine Falcon, Tower Girl.
